Baptism Banner

baptism

Today I’ve taken time out from drawing and have worked on a worship banner that will hang in the church I attend (Trinity Uniting, Launceston). Since 1992 I have been painting banners to compliment the seasons of Christian worship. January 11 celebrates Our Lord’s baptism.

My studio is rather small and housing a 3 x 1 metre banner means there isn’t much room left to manoeuvre! It’s been with me for several months and it’s about time that I finished it. It will be hung vertically and is read from top to bottom. I shall post a clearer photo on this blog when the banner is completed.
