Abstracts in the Home 6.

I’ve just returned from a day’s teaching an adult art class. This is the third class I have held on abstract art and I will post some of the results in the days ahead. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and I’m looking forward to the next class in June. One thing I must comment on is that the paintings that said the most with little content were the most successful. That’s what I like about today’s image; its simplicity works beautifully with the decor. We may see some semi-abstract shapes, we may not. What is important is the harmony between the painting and its surroundings.
