NEW CP DRAWING

STILL-LIFE BAKERS BEACH A

“Still-life, Baker’s Beach”,

Prismacolor pencils on Canson Pastelboard.

Continuing with my method of working in themes, I have decided to follow-up my recent shell drawing with another from Baker’s Beach in Northern Tasmania.

I love the detail and complexity of groups of shells at the high tide mark. The contents seemed to be layered and this gives depth to the composition. Although there is a lot of white evident at this stage of the drawing, I will be introducing a host of warmer colours as the drawing progresses.
