Snow is fascinating in that it buries parts of the landscape. What lies underneath? I took a number of photos of snow yesterday and hope to use some in future coloured pencil drawings.

The top photo is near Pine Lake in Tasmania’s Central Plateau. The photo below I think has some potential. I like the way rocks ‘appear’ out of the snow and then ‘disappear’.

Yesterday I helped hang quite a large exhibition involving 62 paintings. It was a difficult task in a restricted area to hang so many varied works, but we did it! I shall post some examples from the exhibition later in the week.
