I bought myself a drawing tablet which enabled me to draw my images straight to my computer without the need for scanning work drawn on paper.

My work got simpler and more three-dimensional.

Both drawings featured today are a comment on our abuse of our land and man’s attempt to control the landscape.

I’m sure some people find this type of work confronting. When I displayed this series there were many positive comments which surprised me as none were sold. One  (not featured today) though gained a judges’ commendation  at a major art award a few years ago.

I want to take this work further, but I’m still committed to coloured pencil.
