ANOTHER ROOM

It’s early days of my drawing of the second room (that took my fancy) of an old, disused farm building at Cheshunt in Northern Tasmania.

There’s lots to do. I have applied the base layer to most of the drawing, and have a small amount of the door, a mug and a window frame to complete before I start building up the tonal layers.

This drawing is a lot more complicated than it looks. It’s full of marks, stains, shadows and textures. I am using Prismacolors, Polychromos and Coloursoft pencils on Canson pastel board.

I shall ‘beaver’ away at it over the next few weeks.
