My latest drawing is starting to show some tonal depth at last. It’s a demanding job applying layer upon layer of cp in order to capture the ‘mood’ of each object in the composition.

There is a very strong light piercing the window that results in quite a nice abstract look on the floor.

The walls and the door have suffered the ravages of time; or at least they will by the time they are finished!

Although I love the complicated drawings that I so often do, I am at times overwhelmed by the information I need to add. In order to cope I simply leave my work for a day or two before coming back to my drawing table refreshed and ready to go again.

This drawing is still far from finished, but I hope to have it completed before Christmas.

I’m amazed at the graphic quality you give to your CP work. Like early 20th century posters almost. A style I’ve always loved. If you stopped here it would still be great art!
