ART MAPPING

On Tuesday I re-visited the historic farm of Brickendon with the purpose of gathering sufficient information for a major coloured pencil drawing or two.

You can see that the images I have posted are rather dark, because the building is situated near a hedge which blocks a lot of the early morning light.

Nevertheless, I took enough photos that have resulted in several possibilities and over the next week or two I shall make some decisions in respect of not only what I will do, but what I will be ‘saying’.

I enjoy this type of research and planning and believe it’s vital if you want your art to say something.
