At Cheshunt, I came across a superb block of stone above a door on one of the outbuildings. I was impressed by the stone’s ancient look, the chisel marks and texture.
This is the sort of subject matter that is perfect for abstract interpretation.
I have included some examples and tried to get the composition of each piece, the way I think it should be seen.
