It’s early days, but my latest drawing is beginning to take shape. One of the buildings at Cheshunt, in Northern Tasmania, is still standing albeit tentatively, and is a most fascinating subject.
This view is looking through the shed to the landscape in the background. The landscape will clearly be a dominant focal point in that it will contain the most colour.
The building will be rendered in various shades of French Grey (Prismacolor Pencils).
I love the dilapidated state of this shed and its ‘transparent’ qualities.
There is much to do, but I am particularly looking forward to detailing the focal point.
