Salamanca Landscape 2.

Polychromos coloured pencils on 240 gsm rag paper, 37 x 27 cm.

The second drawing in this series on abstraction features chunks of blue metal set in concrete, a line of bitumen and an unknown ochre brown substance.

This is a very detailed composition due to the fact that there were so many small stones set in the concrete mix. There is a strong landscape feel to this drawing and that’s probably the reason that it appeals to me.

Tomorrow I will feature another abstract drawing.
