Polychromos coloured pencils on 240 gsm rag paper, 37 x 27 cm.
The third in my series of abstracts was inspired by a section of concrete at the Hobart wharves that featured a spray painted blue circle around a hole. This may not appeal to many as a suitable subject, but I found it quite interesting.
This drawing is the last in a series of three that will be part of my exhibition in Hobart, in July. I will take a short break from drawing to think and plan my next work.
On Monday I will be hanging a new exhibition of paintings at Launceston’s Country Club Tasmania’s gallery. I shall post a report next week as well as a report on another exhibition that I will be reviewing for The Examiner newspaper.
