RE-VISITING GREYSCALE DRAWING

It’s been a number of years since I did any greyscale drawing, so I thought that it would be best to work on an unfinished work to get myself ‘back in the swing of things’.

I know that it’s still drawing, but it is quite different to colour pencil work and deserves some practice before I commence fresh, new work.

Today’s featured artwork is a drawing from the St. Patrick’s River, about 45 minutes’ drive from where I live.

Although it’s hard to tell, this drawing is on cream paper, not white as is often the case with this medium. I love working with coloured papers for my CP work, and greyscale drawing is no exception.

I shall post a photo of this drawing when it’s completed.

Tomorrow I will discuss how to frame greyscale drawings.
