Pumpkins are certainly the ‘flavour of the month’ in my studio at present!
My third pumpkin drawing (easel) is nearing completion and my fourth (table) is underway.
It’s great to work thematically, but one needs to make sure each drawing is somewhat different than the previous one.
In all of these drawings though, I am seeing each (pumpkin) subject as a landscape object. In other words, the subject must blend with its surroundings.
I shall post updates of this work later in the week.
