ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER ‘ROUND’.

My latest abstract drawing received some more attention yesterday and it’s starting to take shape.

The red line’s dominance is being challenged by the vertical strip of bitumen, but I see this as more complimentary, rather than a distraction.

Getting the composition balanced is always a challenge in any form of art, and abstract work is without doubt the most difficult of all to get ‘right’.

This drawing is the second in a series of three related abstracts that I am very keen to see finished and displayed together. They will be individual drawings but as a set they will have a far greater visual impact.

Drawing these 80 x 60 cm abstracts has been a struggle at times for me, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel!

I shall post the finished (except for touching up here and there) drawing on Friday.
