The third part of last Saturday’s art workshop saw the artists having to make decisions about what they would be painting next week.
After several drawings were completed, a final composition was chosen and then came the time to experiment with colour to see what worked and what was not appropriate.
Several drawings were ‘cropped’ to get a more harmonious, balanced composition.
Some of the artists made up their minds and even had drawn up their preferred composition before the end of the afternoon session. Some had ‘homework’ to do.
I will post the completed paintings from tomorrow’s workshop beginning next Tuesday.
On Monday I will talk about an art medium that is rarely in the spotlight here in Tasmania.
