One theme that I have particularly enjoyed across a range of mediums is what I call the Spirit of the Landscape. Whatever you believe in, I am convinced that there is someone or something behind the creation of ourselves and our environment, and indeed everything else.
I believe in a Creator God , and a natural world where there is a plan, an order to everything. It’s the human race that is doing a perfectly good job of bringing chaos to this planet!
I see the Holy Spirit (represented by a dove) as the guardian of the planet.
Today’s illustration is a digital composition that follows the work featured in yesterday’s post.

I really love this piece and this style you are working in. I noticed the Holy Spirit reference right away. Nice!! I’m currently working on a ‘word art’ piece featuring the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for sharing your work and your thoughts.
Thanks Kate, I’d love to see your artwork when its completed. Regards, Richard

Hi Millicent, there doesn’t seem to be a problem with my Hosting Company. I hope the problem is rectified soon.
Very mosaic-like. Does the geometry of the work refer to the order that the Holy Spirit brings? I like it.
The order is already there. The Holy Spirit watches over what has been created. Man tries to imitate nature, but perfection only comes from the Creator. Thanks for commenting.
I’m impressed with your blog.
Cheers, Richard
