Today is the last day to view the Water Ways Art Exhibition at the Australian Wooden Boat Festival at the waterfront in Hobart.

The exhibition is well worth a visit as is the Wooden Boat Festival.

Friday’s opening was very well attended and there was a constant stream of visitors while my wife Val, and I were there.

I took some photos on my iPhone and although they aren’t of the greatest quality, they give you at least a glimpse of some of the 70 works on display.

I was very impressed with the layout of the exhibition as well as the work presented.

Well done to the Art Society of Tasmania committee and the 60 volunteers who helped make this exhibition possible!

Today I am at the Country Club Tasmania in my last job as their curator to organise the hanging of an exhibition by local artists, David Lake and Dan Villiers. I shall post a report later in the week.

Tomorrow: More from the Water Ways exhibition.
