Dan Villiers’ landscapes are about light, softness and reverence. His work is very appealing due to its meditative qualities.

Top: Boat Harbour – Follow the tiny stream to the ocean. A pristine, lonely landscape. Are you alone? Feel the breeze, experience the wilderness.

Middle: Tamar Island Wetlands (Series 2) – The landscape awakes after a night of slumber. All is quiet as a new day beckons.

Bottom: In My Backyard – Soft, sensuous, minimal light, but full of promise.

If you are able, I urge you to see the work of Dan Villiers and David Lake currently on display at Country Club Tasmania, in Launceston.

The exhibition Two Views, closes on May 22.

Tomorrow: Garage Sale
