MORE OLD HOUSES IN GRAPHITE


Two more dilapidated  houses drawn in graphite pencil.

Both feature strong areas of shadow. I like the negative shapes in the bottom drawing.

I love working with graphite pencils because of the strong contrasts that one can get with them. This is best seen when rendering strong shadows.
