THIRD DRAWING COMPLETED

Rock Allsorts

40 x 60 cm   Coloured Pencil on Pastel Board

My third drawing since my arrival at Trinity Beach, Queensland 11 weeks ago, is ready for framing.

I have two more under way and they are developing, albeit a little slowly.

You can buy a copy of this drawing in card, print or poster form from my Redbubble site. The link is down the right hand side of this page.

I wanted to make this drawing as three-dimensional as possible and include a broad variety of rocks from both Tasmania and far North Queensland.

Can you tell the ‘tropical’ rocks from the ‘cool temperate’ ones? It’s not as easy as you think!

I have been doing more research and planning of late with my eyes on an upcoming art exhibition (with prizes) that I am keen to enter.

I would like to live in this universe of polished coloured stones…
    Congratulations, it’s beautiful!
