Time for colour!

I have chosen to work with Light Peach, Peach, Burnt Ochre, Terra Cotta, Henna and Tuscan Red.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well these particular colours accepted the black paper. Although nowhere near as ‘smooth’ as I’m used to with pastel board, these colours were great to work with.

This was not a difficult task to complete and after a few hours I reached the ‘touch-up’ stage.

Time to stop and review my work. Did I achieve what I had set out to do? How successful is this drawing? What are the ‘positives’ and ‘negatives’?

Wednesday: The verdict.
