My second coloured pencil painting that is calling out for completion is a view from inside the old shearers’ quarters at Cheshunt, in Tasmania’s Meander Valley.

This painting is all about light, shadow and atmosphere, and will require a great deal of coloured pencil layering in order to obtain the right feel for the scene.

It’s early morning as the rising sun’s rays pierce the hallway. The building is no longer in use; the room is quiet, only an old mug on a table, an empty fuel drum and a shirt remain.
