During my last visit to the Brave Art Gallery at Longford, I went for a walk outside the building to photograph some of the very old bricks that form one of its side walls. I have short-listed 5 that I think will be suitable for a painting or two, this time in oils.


Still working within the parameters of my ‘landscape DNA’ theme, I want to capture the feeling for the local landscape. What better way to achieve this by using locally made clay bricks from the nearby Macquarie River as my source of inspiration!
