Last night I returned after spending 7 nights in Cairns, Far North Queensland. My main reason for the trip was to judge the 66th annual Cairns Art Society Exhibition and to announce my results to 225 eager art patrons last Friday night at the Cairns Regional Gallery.
During the week I’ll post a series of reports in which I discuss the reasons for the decisions I made along with photos of the artwork in question.
My wife Val and I had a most enjoyable stay and I’m looking forward to a return visit in July.
